The Lakes of Tempe

About the Neighborhood

The Lakes subdivision was built in Tempe in the 1970s.  It is boxed in by Rural, Baseline, McClintock, and Southshore.  There are 777 homes in the subdivision.  Homes range in size from around 1700 sqft to well over 3000 sqft.  Naturally, the most desirable lots are the ones that back to the lake.

The Lakes has many clubs, but the most popular one is the Beach and Tennis Club.  Here you can play Tennis (obviously!), Basketball, Racquetball, work out, and go swimming in their olympic sized pool.
